Coupon Lingo

Here is a list of some of the abbreviations:

B1G1 or BOGO – Buy 1 Get 1 Free

.50/2- The first number is the dollar amount second number is per items
        Examples:
           $1.00/2 – $1.00 off 2 items
              $1.00/1 – $1.00 off 1 item

Blinkies – Coupon found in dispenser usually near the product (blinking light)

Catalina – Coupon printed from the register

ECB – Extra Care Bucks from CVS. These are linked with your rewards card and can be used like cash at CVS

FLIP – Food Lion Internet Printable (can be used if your store considers Food Lion a competitor)

IP – Internet Printable (Coupon printed from the internet)

MFR or MQ - Manufacturer coupon

MIR – Mail In Rebate

MM – Money Maker

 OOP – Out Of Pocket

Peelie – Coupon found on the product the you “peel” off

PG – Proctor & Gamble (Sunday Newspaper)

RP – Red Plum (Sunday Newspaper)

RR -  Register Rewards from Walgreens (Catalina printed from Walgreens)

SS – Smartsource (Sunday Newspaper)

Tear Pad – “Pad” usually found on the shelf near the item

WAGS – Walgreens

WYB -  When You Buy
